Back Again
Well, I’m finally healthy enough to be back at work again. I actually enjoyed being sick these last four or so days. I hate being sick at work, feeling awful, needing to think… so I stayed home and just enjoyed myself. Being sick was actually rather a pleasant feeling. I could sit in my PJs all day long, knit, listen to Harry Potter on CD and watch the movies. I listened the the whole first book on Thursday. Then Friday I watched movie 1 and movie 2. Then on Saturday I watched movie 2 and movie 3. LOL.
I would have been bored silly without HP.

Which was fun. I had such a great time doing decreases that I started a Hermione Bobble hat, which is proving challenging. But fun. I’m also working on a Hufflepuff dog scarf. I finished the Gryffindor dog scarf.
I do so love to knit. Who woulda guessed?
Sickie
Hrmph. I was sick last week. Didn’t feel well at all. And over the weekend. I hate that. Gonna put a stop to my running again. 
Why do I catch every dang bug in the world?
Maybe I need some Eucalpytus or something. I drank Echinacea tea over the weekend, I don’t know if it helped, but I did feel better Sunday a little bit. I hope I just keep getting better. I don’t like being sick. But sometimes I wonder if my body just shuts down every three or so months, because I get stressed or something. I dunno. I’ve been taking things really super easy over the last three weeks or so. Just enjoying the autumn and not being too busy.
IE…. no!
Okay, got the menu fixed for IE. Gads, who uses IE anymore? Not I, that is for sure. Cryptic old money hungry Microsoft.. let’s all use Linux and Firefox!
Changed A Bit
Okay, I changed the template a little bit. I like rounded edges on backgrounds, so crated a little image and put it in a table, and there we go. The posts now show up inside the table.
I might make it thusly for the comments, too, but I havne’t decided yet. We shall see, eh? Probably would be pretty easy to plug in the same code. Finding the link references for each little tiny section is rather a pain, though.
Blog Explosion
Okay, I signed up this wee little blog on blogexplosion.com. We’ll see how that goes. Since this is still new, there’s not much on it yet. I do hope to import all my dog agility training entries from cynthiablue.blogger.com. Eventually. Perhaps this coming weekend. This is ending up being a quite fun thing!
Also, it appears Firefox has a built in RSS reader. And so I can just bookmark the sites I want to, and it shows up. Very nifty. I’ll see how that works. Though receiving RSS feeds as email in Thunderbird might be more my style. I’ll have to see how all that goes.
Anywhoo, I was pretty busy today, so not much blogging going on. 
And.. hrm, I need to learn what trackbacks are.
RSS Feeds
Okay, so now I need to learn all about RSS and how it works. I don’t have an RSS reader… I wonder if there is one that goes along with Firefox or Thunderbird. Seems like it’d work best through a browser, or even better through a mail client. I’ll have to go check it out.
Since now this site is set up through feedburner (link in right menu). I gotta subscribe to my own blog! LOL. And to Energy Paws blog as well.
Tuesday
Well, it’s Tuesday again, and I’m still getting the hang of this blog, wordpress. I like it a lot. And I got the URL working… blog.hexwitch.com, so it points to the right place now. Whew.
I hope to import my blogger dog training blog, maybe this coming weekend. And get some things organized on here.
I took the bus in to work again today. I don’t mind it so much, as long as I can knit, which I’m loving. And, it is super nice not having to pay gas! My word, gas is almost $3 a gallon. That is way too much. I hope to only drive to work on days I have agility class, and then drive to agility classes. Hopefully I’ll save some money that way.
