Ninety Nine Degrees
Well, I just took my temperature. 99.3. So I guess that means I have a fever. That must be why I’m baking hot sitting around. Ugh. My temp is usually around 96.5 or 97. Pretty low on my thermometers.
I really think I’m ready for this sick to go away soon.
And maybe if I ate better, that would help.
I’ve been living on garlic bread, orange juice (lots of pulp) and chocolate chips. Mmm… I don’t know why being sick is an excuse, for me, to eat badly. I just really have no appetite. I did have some eggs today. And I’ve been drining chamomile tea with honey. I love that. My Mom used to give me that in my baby bottle. Still makes me feel better.
Ugh.
RSS Readers
So what RSS Reader do you prefer? I was using google reader, but it kept crashing Firefox. Go figure… google crashing something. Hrmph.
Anyway, so I’m looking into Bloglines instead.
What do you use?
Upgraded
Upgrading always worries me, even though I haven’t, as of yet, had one go bad. I just upgraded my WordPress to the latest version, because I wanted to upgrade my theme. And if I’m going to upgrade the one, why not the other.
So if you visited during the five minutes where all my files were deleted, I apologize. All seems okay now. I’m missing one background image (orange) in the title bars. But that might be a skin bug and I want to leave it there until the theme creator can have a look at it.
I love this theme. And schemes are completely cool. I can make changes to my CSS without changing the main CSS file. Woo Hoo. Gotta love that. I do hope I added all my PPP and blogrolling etc javascript in the right template pages, though.
I hope all the plugins and such still work. I think they do. So, carry on…
Page Rank May Happen
Hrmm… maybe the page rank update will happen soon. I can only hope. This blog is 0, and for paying opportunities, it would be soooo much nicer if it was higher. I’d take a 1, or even a 2. 3 would be awesome.
According to a couple checkers, this site might be going to a 3. I will cross my fingers.

New Plugins
I love plugins. Especially when they work easily. Which sometimes isn’t the case. But alas, I just added a few fun ones.
I added the MyBlogLog Comments Avatars plugin, so now when you leave a comment you’ll see your MyBlogLog image… fun stuff.
I also added the comment preview plugin, so you’ll see your comment appear as you type.
And this cool plugin, that lets you see all my plugins!
Thanks to Tina Silva for the idea for the new plugins!
Me..I’m still sick. I haven’t showered in over two days. I think I’m going to go do that now.
Love is in the Tail
If You Want to Know if Spot Loves You So, It’s in His Tail
Does the direction a dog wags his tail have anything to do with how much he loves you? It could be.
This article from the New York Times says that if a dog’s tail wags more to the right side of his rump, he feels something very positive. Not quite as much so if his tail is wagging to the left side of his rump.
This study was done in Italy, at the University of Trieste. It is quite an interesting read.
I personally know that some dogs, like people, are either left-handed or right-handed. Lucy is our only dog who will shake, every single time, with her left paw. All the other three shake with their right paws. Though this study is based more off a right/left brain response than being right or left handed. I thought it was interesting!
Technorati Favs Exchange
Well, okay, here I go. I am late to jump on this bandwagon… but I want to participate. Being only in posession of half a brain today, being sick, I hope I am doing this right. Sesame Street is no longer on, now it’s Bob The Builder, which I’ve never watched…. LOL go figure I have no kids. But it’s mindless chatter while I do some surfing.
Anyway… I am copying my main list from The Pond. And adding some links from there. This list exchange was started by http://www.doshdosh.com/. And the link exchange post where everyone is hanging out, is Dosh Dosh’s Technorati Favorites Exchange. So.. here’s for some Technorati fun!
***Start Copying Here:***
Here are the rules:
1) Fave all the blogs on this list.
2) Write a short introduction paragraph about how you found the list and include a link to the blog that referred you to the list.
3) COPY the Rules and ENTIRE List below and post it to your blog. To avoid duplicate content and increase the amount of keywords your site can accessible for, go ahead and change the titles of your blog. Just don’t change the links of the blog.
4) Take all of the “My New Faves†from the blog that linked you and add them to the “Original Faves†list.
5) Add up to 5 more faves to your “My New Faves†List along with a link to fave them. (You can just copy and replace a url from the other ones so you have the link and don’t have to hunt down the blogs on Technorati.)
