Honestly, I find it amazing that just this morning I read in my local paper that Albany,NY is looking to get free wireless for the entire city... and here UT is trying to get rid of it.. d'oh! People should be able to do what they want with their WiFi, and if that means sharing, then so be it. Children can do a lot of things, and I agree that it all comes down to parenting and how you teach your children. These sorts of steps only avoid the real issue. Anyway, I am a proponent of open-source and sharing. By cutting off WiFi sharing, it only serves the interests of big time corporations and restricts community ideals. What a silly initiative. I doubt it will stand for long. What a ridiculous idea. People should be able to do what they want with their WiFi, and if that means sharing, then so be it.
