Chase’s Training

14 May, 2007 (13:33) | Chase | By: User ImageCynthia [My Barks!]

I am thinking of documenting Chase’s training as we go through the process. He is such a high drive dog, and I want to do drive shaping with him.

There are many dogs in agility that get so high, they loose control, don’t pay attention, knock bars, blow contacts, and general run around high speed and not in control. I want Chase to be in control. This is my goal. I want him to walk to the start line calmly with me. I want him to have full speed, and at the same time full control.

And so I might write a page on it, even, once we are reaching our goals. Closer to reaching our goals. :) I’ll post about it as we go along, too.

On this day..

We support you!!!! It will definitely a help in your training. I kept training records for everything I did with Johann, and it’s really paid off not only for him, but for Gracie - her weaves are a perfect example.

Looking forward to some great info - that we can take with us too!
