Sammy Update
Well.. I got an email from Sammy’s new home. Wow, they are really putting in a lot of work to help their dog adjust to him. They got baby gates and have separated their house so they can be together but not quite be together. I am impressed.
They said he seemed sad the first couple of days, but is now adjusting. So hopefully it will work out and he’s in his new home. I never count on things for sure until like at least a month has gone by. But maybe I should take his ad off petfinder…
Cross your fingers!

How exciting for Sam!!! I am happy he is adjusting. Sounds like you made a good choice for him as his family is working with him and trying to accommodate his issues. Most people give up the second things get a rough. Fingers are still crossed for him!!! I hope he continues to make progress with his new family and will be a happy and productive member of their family.

Yeah most people give up sooo fast it’s scary. So that they are working with him is a super good sign. I’m impressed with them! The dogs are easy, the people are the hard part.
But I’ve met a lot of great people in dog rescue.
