Chase’s Pads
Oh no. After we got home last night from our walk along Jordan Parkway, Chase was chewing his feet. And pulling skin off. This morning he is walking very tenderly and his bads definitely have a layer of skin off.
This sucks. Not only for Chase because I don’t want him in pain, but we have our first flyball tournament this weekend in St. George.
I guess I’ve been a bad mom this summer and haven’t taken him on jogs or walks to toughen up his pads. Or else maybe he reacted to some weed. It was after the sun set, so couldn’t be the heat of the concrete. He ran mostly off to the sides in dirt and weeds.
Oh boy. I have Bag Balm for him and some Vitamin E I can try to help him out.

Oh man! One word – Traumeel – a homeopathic rub you can get at the health food store. It's a miracle cream.

I hope you can find him some relief. They said on our news that the animal hospitals around here are packed due to burnt pads from the hot concrete

Oh poor Chase! I have to look into that Traumeel stuff. I’m always on the look out for new homeopathics.
Bag Balm is an excellent choice.. good stuff there.
