And yeah.. in the wild the dogs/wolves would get more nutrients from natural wildlife, but since we feed them farm raised food, they probably don't get everything they need. I've been supplementing. Qor is allergic to wheat and that's a main ingredient in the PM mix. Qay has decided that NDF PM is stinky.. so Qor gets Oma's Pride Turkey and Qay gets Oma's Pride Chicken (both with veggies) and they get a multivitamin (Azmira Mega Pet Daily). The all get Volhard AM Mix with Kefir (home made) . Targ is still on straight NDF. I do think that the vitamins are necessary, only because with all the environmental challenges they get, I dont' know that what they get from food is enough. We’ve also had to go modified Volhard.
