Dog Blog Platforms

For all the dog blogs I have been looking at lately, I swear hardly any of them are on WordPress. :(

I love WordPress. I love that I get and send pingbacks and trackbacks. I love that I can have a whole slew of plugins to customize it, including the comment email responder. I love that the files and database is on my own server.

So how come dog people don’t usually use WordPress? Surely dogs can figure WordPress out! :)

  1. WordPress. hmmmmm…… If we changed would that change our rankings (what little we’ve been able to acquire?) Probably not if I didn’t change the domain, right. Silly Q’s

Hey, I thought you had a trial today??

  5. I use WordPress for my blog!

I suspect a lot of people want something they don’t have to get into the nuts & bolts of too much, so they end up using free sites like blogspot and blogger.

  9. Hi Larry that’s great. I will put your blog on my RSS feed. I am brand new to flyball, my BC loves it. You might want to consider making your blog a Do Follow blog to get more readers and commenters.

  15. Hmmm, wordpress you say! The girls are on blogspot, I have looked into switching, but since I have 3 other blogs to maintain, I’d really want to switch them all I think- sounds like a lot of work.
