Smooth Collie Tattoo

Collie Tattoo Well I posted this over on my other blog, but I had to put it here too because it’s dog related. I have a new tattoo on my upper left thigh. I have another tattoo, a sun, on my left ankle. But when someone gave me the idea to have this smooth collie image tattooed, I had to jump on it. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this myself.

I didn’t draw this image, the guy over at Smooth Collies.net did so, and isn’t he talented? I have a sweatshirt and a T-Shirt with the image, too. the tattoo artists put Levi’s name in the image. I love it. It’s high enough to hide at work under skirts, and hopefully low enough to show under shorts. For now I’m careful with it and keeping it clean, dry, and lubricated so it heals.

I love it!

    That is nice!! I have a drawing of a pit bull angel that I’m getting done when my baby crosses the Rainbow Bridge, which hopefully won’t be for a while.

    Oh my gosh that’s totally awesome Cyn! I have often thought of getting a tatoo with a rough collie, smooth collie and sheltie heads together (kind of like the CCA logo but including a Sheltie) but have never been able to decide where I would put it or how to get it drawn. We’ll have to talk!

    I dont have any tattoos. I have never thought about it and have no desire to get one. I am a CHICKEN for pain…

    It looks cool though!

    Thanks Lora! It doesn’t hurt as much as I thought it would. But tattoos are definitely not for everyone!

    I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! It’s exactly what I was looking for.. except I want it to be specified to my pup who just passed (not a collie).

    Can you provide current info for whoever the artist is? The link seems to be outdated.
