Laptop Update

Well, the laptop battery is charging. I disassembled the thing, vacuumed it out, and reassembled it. It is starting up now, though not staying on long. Hopefully because the battery is low even though it is plugged in. Only time will tell, now.

I love playing with computers, I am a programmer at work, and so taking it apart was pretty fun. I would love to get some more programming certifications. Might help me with the laptop, too! Maybe after I retire I’ll check out A+ certification training and see what I can do. My options will be way open so that’ll be awesome.

A year ago after losing my job I enrolled at Techskills to get my MCDST certification. That includes both A courses, Network and 2 XP courses. I love computers and always wanted to do this and I am not sorry I did. I am now working for Techskills and taking additional courses. If you decide to pursue your certs, definitely go to a tech school with a hands on lab and don’t bother with a traditional college. We get a lot of students from traditional colleges who have taken the courses but are unable to pass the cert exams because all they learned is theory.

Daethian thanks for the info. I always wanted to hear from someone who actually attended.
