Vet Update

Well just wanted to post a quick note that Sonny is a healthy boy. He loves to go for rides and hang out with people. He always has a smile on his face. Check out the Collie Rescue blog for more information on his vet visit.

Lucy is still swollen. Hopefully the antibiotics will kick in and she can get her tooth extracted next Monday. Monday will be busy. If I go to training in the morning with Levi and Chase, I’ll have to bring Sonny and Lucy and drop them off at the vet on the way. I’ll have a full car. They will all fit, but just barely!

    Oh extracted, too bad! Ouch!

I am going to post about this later, but I went to the doggie dentist today, cause I have a chipped tooth. The estimate is $1200 to put me under, and put the filling/resin on the tooth so that it won’t get worse. And if they have to do a root canal with it, the cost goes up to $1400. YIKES! Gotta see if my insurance will pay for it. Mum says I’m going to be a $10,000 dog in no time! BOL!

Wow Johann! Well, health and happiness are more important than money. I’m not convinced it’s Lucy’s tooth. Her swelling is down and she is crunching on things, so we’ll see what the vet says on Monday.
