I don’t often find collie blogs on the web. But a collie blogger found me! She has a gorgeous sable and white rough collie named Maudie she does obedience with, and she is planning on having Maudie be a therapy dog, too. Collies are great therapy dogs. They are friendly, mellow, loving and sweet, and gorgeous too.

And the rough sables look so much like Lassie that they bring a smile to anyone’s face. When I took Sonny for a walk last night I got two ‘Lassie’ comments about him, from people I’ve never talked to before, and we only went for 20 minutes!

    thanks for the kind words, Cynthia…I’m equally happy to have found YOUR blog…Maudie and I seem to amassing smoothie friends! I love your agility videos.

    Last night Maudie and I also had 2 Lassie comments and we were only out for 30 minutes, and had never met those folks either! I’ve heard of the harvest moon…must be a collie moon ;-)

    The night before it was “beautiful and elegant” remarks…

    He he yup maybe it is a collie moon! I like those beautiful and elegant remarks, collies are so very pretty. Especially the roughs. Most people don’t know much smooth blues are collies, most of the time.
