The Hard One to Give Up

colliesatthegateOkay… yes yes, we got these four amazing smoothies from Houston. And I will tell you, Tatum is going to be a hard one for me to part with. She has spunk. Major spunk and I love it. Good energy level, and she is a great size. I do like the smaller collies, I will admit. Mainly because of the dog sports we do. She would jump 20 inches in AKC I bet. And she is really nicely built for flyball, and would be a hoot to train in obedience. She has a good attitude and is very curious. Both great traits for a performance dog.

So, ya’ll have to tell me I can’t keep Tatum the Tater Tot! :)
And so to support these collies I do blog, and you do see some Blog Advertising here and there. This company, Pay U 2 Blog, is my favorite paid blogging company!

I think you need to either keep tatum the tater tot, or make sure she goes to a working home. Would your hubby let you keep another dog?

Oh, another dog? Wow, I agree with Rachael - either you or another performance home, that energy shouldn’t be wasted, she wants to work! Yeah!

    Glad camp went well!!!

Happy to meet Tater and see those collies in a good place.

I had one similiar experience with a papillon foster….only this guy was an 11 year old mess and we kept him…My DH says that “no-one will ever love me as much as that dog did…” and I was mad about him too….

If she’s yours, you’ll know it… you know that!!!

Hi Rachael, the husband already wants to keep 2 of them… :) Tatum is up on petfinder as a very high energy dog. I would love to see her in a working home. I am going to be very picky about the home she goes to. But then again, I’m always picky.

Yeah Johann she really does want to work, she’d love a job. She now nips at my but for play! LOL funny, but it hurts!

Hi Elizabeth, the older ones are much too hard to place. I would just keep an 11 year old, too. We will hold onto Tatum for a while and see how she turns out, and if any home comes up that would work for her.
