Hi Perro. Yeah appropriate toys are good. Though we do let them have socks, too, as they are cheap dog toys.

LOL, at least you gave them the proper toy. I have friends that (despite suggestions to do otherwise) give their dogs old shoes/socks to chew on. Then they wonder why the dogs get ahold of the new ones later.
