Cynthia,

Last night I was lying in bed thinking about the ages of my house mates and trying not to sleep. I’ve had this house for almost nine years and so the oldest is at least that age. I was shocked to think how the time passes so quickly when we are measuring out the lives of those we love and care for.

With two ill companions, my heart is with you.

Thanks Julie.. we are going to have an ultrasound next Tuesday then talk about treatment options. Chemo is so hard on the dog.. not sure we will want to do that. We’ll see what her chances are.
