Colorado was a lot of fun. I love going to new cities and learning about them, the layout, where I’m staying, etc. I like getting out of Utah, even though Utah really is a beautiful state. We stayed with a friend, and she had squirrels in her back yard. Levi and Chase, both, really wanted to get those darn squirrels. This picture of Levi is of him looking up into the tree to find that squirrel. Levi did good at agility.. but after the first run he stopped weaving for me. I was bummed because he had some good runs. …Read the Rest

Home Again
Whew… I’m home. It was a long drive. I’m not crazy about such a long drive from Colorado… and yet I’m going to do it again when I go to a USDAA agility trial with Chase in May. I didn’t even bring my golf bags because it was too cold to golf! I got home about 7pm last night. I slept in a bit this morning then came in to work. It was a fun trip, though. Levi only got one Q and Chase didn’t get any. I am going to start running them in separate venues to see if …Read the Rest
In Colorado
Woo Hoo in Colorado! We are sitting at a Starbucks getting some free internet access and having an iced coffee. The weather is awesome, which is good, because it’s been snowy and cold the last few days. Agility was great. I am amazed at how well a three ring, three judge trial ran. We were done by 2 or 3 pm each day. When we left some rings were still going, but since we are in Excellent we left pretty early. And even the other rings were done pretty quick. Today is our day off and we went to Boulder …Read the Rest
Going to Colorado for Agility
I am headed out of town tomorrow (Wed) afternoon, going to Richfield Utah to meet with my friend down there who has shelties. Thursday we are going to drive to the Denver area, Colorado, for a three day agility trial. I will have Chase and Levi with me. Then Monday is a day off for us, and Tuesday we are going to go to sheltie nationals! I won’t be able to enter, as it’s shelties only, but I’ll hang out and help, probably. Then I’ll be back on the 18th… then on the 19th I’m going camping with my husband, …Read the Rest
Muffit and Me
My husband took this picture when I was taking a nap on the couch with Muffit. He is such a sweet boy, all curled up by my head. I knew he was there when I went to sleep. And I do like to snuggle with the dogs. And yup, I can sleep like this just fine!
Tatum Went for a Visit
Well tonight Tatum went for a visit to her flyball friend’s house. Kibu was very excited to see Tatum… usually Tatum is very nervous in new places. But when the door opens and a very exuberant Kibu jumps out and gets excited, Tatum thinks she’s in heaven! It was great to see Tatum so comfortable. I’m so proud of that girl. She is my little baby girl. She went outside an ran around like a maniac, sometimes playing with Kibu, sometimes on her own. She explored every nook and cranny of house and yard. I was thrilled. My shy little …Read the Rest
Colloidal Silver for Health?
I am always looking for ways to be more healthy. For both me and the dogs. Though I will try stuff on myself that I may not try on the dogs. Because I just don’t know how it might affect them, and I don’t want to hurt them in any way. I am their guardian and their entire health is in my care, and I want to keep them very safe. For me, though, I’ve been reading about colloidal silver. Very interesting. I guess in the olden days peopled used silver a lot, to keep wine fresh, doctors would use …Read the Rest
Muffit Likes to Burrow
Muffit is such a cute boy. Apparently he likes to burrow himself under the blankets… then scratch scratch scratch himself a bed so it’s comfy, then snuggle in. This is a very cute picture of him on our downstairs bed after he’s moved the blankets over himself. I’m a bit worried about him… he drinks a lot, and pees a lot. What can be a cause of that? Diabetes? I’m going to ask the vet next time we go in, which will be pretty soon as our dogs are due for checkups. No vaccinations, though, just titers!
Thanks Entrecard!
I just want to thank all the Entrecard droppers who have been dropping on Tip Tail! Look, we are the fourth most expensive to advertise on in the Pets category! This makes me very excited! I know that Entrecard prices don’t really mean much in the big blogging world… however, since I’m an Entrecard nut, it means a lot to me personally. And it means that the people who drop cards are liking Tip Tail and coming back, and I do appreciate all of you! I try to reciprocate drops as much as I can. I’ll be on vacation from …Read the Rest
Four Very Tired Dogs
Yes… three dogs and one human do fit on a couch. Although barely! Today I took four of our six dogs to flyball practice. It was fun. Chase already knows it and does a great job. Levi.. I’m going to train him up, because he would have fun even if he isn’t fast. He should learn pretty quick. He went away from me just fine toward the box loader who had some treats, but on the way back he didn’t go over the jumps. He went by them! I thought that was odd. So I know what I have to …Read the Rest
