Ive been reading a lot of articles lately about crating and belting dogs in cars. Stranger, my year and a half floppy puppy, practically grew up in the back seat of a car, traveling with us cross country, but i never once thought about securing him in any way.
do you do this? might atleast ease your mind and lower risk

We have pet insurance. For all three dogs. We use VPI but I'm not sure if it's only available in the US or not. It came in quite handy when Kodiak had his second surgery. It was $1,800 and they covered nearly $1,000 of it.

It's definitely not complicated but it can add up. Couple of things to consider - how much could you save if you just put the same amount of money as the premium would cost into a high interest savings account? That way if something happened you'd be able to cover the dogs yourself.

Another thing, there are different levels of insurance so you could just get catastrophic insurance for something major like cancer or a car accident. Our insurance covers that and a bit more. But we pay for vet visits and basic things out of our own pocket. castocreationss last blog post..<a href="<a href="http://castocreationsjewelry.blogspot.com/2008/05/happy-monday-morning.html" " rel="nofollow">http://castocreationsjewelry.blogspot.com/2008/05...rel="nofollow">Happy Monday Morning!
