Don’t Lose your Dog!

We all fear the day when…. if…? hopefully the day that never comes, that our pets get out and we can’t find them. And no matter how vigilant we are, it can happen to anyone. Just a week or so ago Muffit found a loose board in our fence and was out… and since he still doesn’t know us well, he wouldn’t come to my husband. Fortunately my Husband lifted up the loose board and Muffit went back into our yard.

I hate thinking of a lost dog that isn’t able to find his home. There is a website, FindToto.com, that considers itself the Amber alert for pets. So even if you have picked up a found dog and brought him to your home, you can contact these guys and they can help you find his home, and if you lose a dog, or a cat, they will help you find your own lost pets.

These guys contact your neighborhood by phone! They are a great site… you might want to check them out. Though, knock on wood, none of our animals are ever going to get out. And we have really good recalls on them anyway, right! At least the dogs.. not sure if you can get a recall on a cat.
