Obedience Is Fun!
Too many dogs have been trained in the old-school way for obedience. Well, mine are not! They are trained in the new-school way of fun and play and having a good time. And I think it shows.This is Levi in Open A last Saturday. He did so great! I did have to work to keep his spirits up because I get nervous. He didn’t qualify because he went down on his sit stay, but he would have otherwise with a pretty good score!
We don’t use any industrial equipment for training.. but we use lots of dog equipment. 
Jumps and dumbbells and fun things like that. And lots and lots of treats and praise and love!
Levi is very sensitive, and so needs short training sessions with lots of success. He has one leg toward his ASCA CDX, I really hope to get the other two before he retires. He’s 9.5 years old now… but I’m sure we can do it!

By the way…the last couple of nights we have put Jet thruogh a hard time, he has been BED training! But he is still in a good mood, and he does not complain much – In fact he sleeps like a log, all night through. So, you wont have any problem with that…!
