I'm an expat living in India and keen on getting a Labrador since I'm living right next to the sea, I'm happy to see that the Kennel Club of India is a member of FCI, gives me more confidence about their abilities. Odd though that KCI is certified but AKC isn't. Still need to look in to all the ins and outs of how I'd get a dog from India to England - is it even fair to put them on a plane for 12 hours and then in quarantine for X number of months! My head is spinning here too! That's a lot to digest and make sense of. I've always heard how competitive it is, but wow...I can't tell one dog from another. I know some basic's. I know which ones intimate me.
