Too Busy to Rest

I was just looking at my calendar and realized that yes, I am going to be much too busy this spring. As usual, I guess. Lots of dog sports going on. And my Husband wants to squeeze a camping trip in there too… we didn’t go camping at all last year, and we both missed it. So this year we have to squeeze a couple in between my dog events. I’m going to need some vehicle tracking to even figure out where I am.

This weekend is Flyball Tournament in St. George. Then the following weekend is a weekend off. After that, April 12th, I’ll be in Colorado doing agility. April 19th we are going camping. April 26 is a USDAA trial I’ve entered Chase in. May 3 is a 3 day AKC agility trial. May 10 I’m going back to Colorado just with Chase for USDAA trial, and then finally on May 17th I’ll be able to stay home that weekend.

Ugh! The worst part will be missing flyball practice. I wonder if someone would take Chase for me, on those rare weekends when he’s not coming with me. 🙂

  1. I’d be happy to take Chase to Flyball anytime we are going! Just lmk and I will throw a crate in the car for him.

  3. That would be awesome! I will take you up on it when I’m running Levi in AKC agility and not running Chase. Since it’s so hard for me to switch between dogs I’m going to see if I can get Levi some legs without running Chase at the same trial. That’s not until May tho!

  5. Hi, Cynthia. I am just getting around to visiting people who were kind enough to comment on my blog. I lost my dog a couple of weeks ago and it has been rough. I will be back!

  6. What a wonderful blog you have. I used to have a collie dog as a child and it bought back a lot of memories. My grandfather also had sheep dogs on his farm – one was worth more than 5 men he used to say. I would gladly take Chase off your hands but given I am in Australia its a bit far away!

  8. Hi CyberCelt.. I am so sorry about your loss. 🙁 Loosing a best friend is so hard, I can relate. I lost my shepherd mix, Kip, 8 years ago and still remember the pain and sorrow. And I still miss him. Thanks for your visit.

  10. Hi lilly! That is very cool about your childhood collie! Dogs are amazing, hard workers, and best friends. 🙂 We’d surely miss Chase if he went to live with you!
