Happy Halloween

Working from home today, good thing too because going to work was a pain, literally, with my sprained ankle yesterday. So no costume for me or the dogs. Oh well. The dogs prefer not to be dressed up anyway. In Las Vegas at flyball and agility they had costume contests. They were fun and every year I want to get costumes for my dogs, and then I never do. Not enough time, not enough energy.

Oh well. Maybe someday. I should get some Harry Potter costume for the dogs. But since I can’t sew, making them myself would be way too much work!

Contest Contestants

Okay here are the contest contestants. We have five entries! :) I hope to do this again in the future, so keep watch for another contest. It will probably be for another gift certificate, but to a different place.

I am so behind!

Ugh! Of course I do a contest on the weekend Harry Potter Book Seven, The Deathly Hallows, comes out! I’ve been reading all weekend, just finished about a half hour ago, the entire book, and so now I’m back to blogging and catching up.

I have a ton of comments and emails to respond too. Probably I’ll start the voting tonight, or early tomorrow morning. Sorry about the delay!

Reader Appreciation Contest

And it’s not just any old wimpy contest.
Nope, this is a good contest. A contest you will want to participate in. A contest with a great prize.

Not a prize that you will just put in your closet and forget about. Nope. Not a prize that you will look at in a year and think oh boy, another piece of junk in my house.

The prize is not worth only $5, or $10, or even only $20… but it’s going to be worth $30!

The prize, because I know you want to know that first, before you know the contest details, is a $30.00 gift certificate to Doggone Good.com. Now I don’t know about you, but I can spend a heck of a lot more than $30 at that site. :) I love it and I have a great deal of fun, and functional, items from there.

The Rules
