Tip Tail Thursday Animal Site Review Meme It’s time for a meme! I am actually in Blackfoot, Idaho, doing agility with my dogs this day. So I posted this Wednesday to show up Thursday morning. :) I will probably be able to get online to finish of the meme.

I posted my Animal Site Review for this week’s meme. Tip Tails Meme Participation. So once you post your review, either link here for a pingback, or link to Tip Tails meme participation post. And then on Friday after all the participation is done, I’ll post up a link with everyone’s sites and we can all go visit.

So hopefully there will be participation! This is a new meme. And don’t worry about the ‘rules’, ultimately it’s just for fun and do whatever you want to do!

And if you need some hair restoration, don’t hesitate to get that too! ;)

Thursday Meme 6/14/07 - Fuzzy Logic!

Fuzzy Logic Blog This week’s Animal Review Meme, on this site anyway, is of Fuzzy Logic!

Fuzzy Logic, and her other websites under the energypaws.com domain name, is run by Jen. I have known Jen for a while now, probably a couple of years. We met on a message forum called Pet Scoop. It’s an excellent board with a lot of fun and intelligent animal people.

Multi-Talented Sacred Paws

Jen is a multi-talented, wonderful person. She is an animal communicator (she talked to Levi and Angel for me a couple years ago), she makes gorgeous dog collars (two of my dogs are wearing them now, and we need more). Jen and her partner, Michelle, have three Bullmastiffs. They are big wonderful dogs she has worked with a great deal. I love seeing the pictures of them whenever I look at her website.

Raw Diet at Sacred Paws

Jen is the one who turned me on to the Volhard Diet for my dogs. I started feeding raw July 2006. I still feed the Volhard diet mostly… but again I am experimenting with various alternatives. Jen’s dogs are wonderfully healthy and well behaved. She not only feeds raw, she is very knowledgeable about herbal supplements and homeopathic treatments for the dogs. You will probably see Jen commenting on Tip Tail once in a while, too!

Herbs and Essential Oils

Jen also knows a great deal about Herbs and Essential Oils. I’ve purchased some of her oils and I must say, they are wonderful! They helped me with a bug problem we were having at home. And they smell marvelous, too. If you need any help with Essential Oils Jen can help you out!

Fuzzy Logic Blog

Fuzzy Logic is Jen’s dog blog. She blogs about dog health, dog topics, and her own Bullmasiffs. Including Qor’s Poofy Face! Oh, and she is really good with dog names, too. Each of her dogs have Klingon names! So check out the Fuzzy Logic Blog if you want to find a great dog blog with a lot of fun and interesting information!

Tip Tail Thursday Animal Site Review Meme

All in All, Jen is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met online. She has helped me with Kefir, dog health, dog communications, collars, and she has brightened my life by knowing her. I hope some of those that read this blog here will go visit her blog and her website! I thought she would be a great subject of my review for this Thursday Dog Review Meme. I hope others will participate in the meme this week!

Meme Soon!

Soon meme Thursday will be coming! I hope we have some participants. It should be fun, really. I know what site I am going to review, I just have to put it all together and get it going. I’ll have it up by Wednesday evening.. errr, if I don’t forget.

I’m leaving around 1pm to head up to Blackfoot, Idaho with the boys. So just a quick reminder for that meme!

Tip Tail Hosts a Meme

Tip Tail Thursday Animal Site Review Meme And so we have a new meme! I was lying in bed last night, and thinking before I fell asleep, like I do way too much, and came up with this idea of a meme.

I think memes are fun. I haven’t done very many of them. I haven’t found very many animal related ones! If I did, I would do them. So I thought hmm… there needs to be an animal related meme out there that everyone can participate in.

So here is the Animal Site Review Meme. You don’t have to have an animal site to participate, you just need to review an animal site. And it doesn’t matter if it is a pet, wild animal, or even animals from other planets. It just has to be a non-human animal. :)
So I hope you will participate in this meme and we can get some good animal related sites exchanged!

Johann the Agility Sheltie!

Johann Agility SheltieI wanted to write a bit of a review of one of the dog blogs I regularly visit. I have to say, Johann is a very talented, quick, and smart sheltie. (Sheltie is short for Shetland Sheepdog.) He is a bi-black sheltie, which means he is black and white. Many shelties, and collies, have brown mixed in there. Collies don’t come in bi-black, collies always have brown in their coats. Tri-color shelties also have brown, black and white, just like tri-colored collies. Johann is a very pretty boy, he is black and white, and he is very striking indeed! This picture of Johann’s website has him on the right, and one of his sheltie friend’s on the left.

When you visit Johann’s website, you’ll find many interesting options. You can Shop from Johann’s shop, you can watch Johann’s agility comeback video, and you can read all about Johann.

Agility Sheltie

Johann is an excellent agility sheltie. I love to see how quickly some dogs move up through the Novice, Open, and Excellent classes in AKC. Johann was quick and smart enough to move all the way into Excellent in under one year. And he also does venues other than AKC. This agility sheltie also does USDAA, another very fun agility venue. We have done some USDAA and we would like to do more if we had more time and more money. :)

Rescue Sheltie

Johann is also a rescue! And as ya’ll know, I whole-heartedly support rescue. I absolutely love seeing dogs having a wonderful time in agility, especially the rescues which may have had a difficult start in life. It’s amazing to me to see the most brilliant, fast, amazing dogs in agility, and find out they were dumped at the shelter (like Chase), or returned multiple times from various homes, or deemed ‘untrainable.’ Bah! These dogs just needed a job. Something to do. Johann even has a picture of one of his littermates, and occasionally wonders what might have happened to them. What home are they in now? It would be great if he could talk to them once again.

Sheltie Blog

Johann even has his own blog. I visit his blog on a regular basis, whenever my own blogging and dog training allow, and love to read up on his training experiences and trialing adventures. I think it is very neat how much Johann looks like Chase, my border collie. Though Johann is definitely sheltie, and Chase is definitely.. well, we tell AKC he is definitely BC, but he is definitely not sheltie lol. Their coloring is very similar! If Chase wasn’t so grumpy, they could play together. I wonder how much Johann weighs? Chase weighs about 52 pounds. Maybe Johann will come to visit us and let us know in a comment. :)

Sheltie Family

Johann also has a sister named Gracie. It seems as though she has a bit of the zoomies like Chase does. But she is learning and coming along, and she is a great sister to have fun with!

So, if you’d love to meet another really fun sheltie who does agility, clicker trains, and knows how to sneeze on cue, go check out Johann the Dog!

Saturday Meme

Saturday Meme
Cool.. another Meme. These are actually quite fun!

1. What’s your favorite type of ending to a movie/play?
I like happy endings. I used to like the sad stories that were ‘real’, but lately, I don’t want real when I go to the movies. I just want fun and happiness.

2. What’s your favorite type of ending to a book/novel?
Same as movies. I want everyone to end up happy ever after, and loves to work out

3. What would be your favorite ending to your life story?
I think it would be that I look back on my life and think I did all I could with what I had. That I was happy, and dealt with the sorrows in a good way. That I did all I could for myself and those I love. And the dogs too, of course. That I made a positive impact on some dog’s lives.

4. What would be your favorite sentence ending to these ridiculous questions?
Onward!

I really enjoy these Memes. They are fun. And the word Meme is just a riot LOL. Now I should go and find some replay clothing because I’m in a shopping mood!

Neat and Tidy - Friday Meme

Oooo my first Meme.
Friday Meme

Neat and Tidy

1. How neat are the clothes you wear? Do you iron? Fold them promptly? Pull them out of the dirty laundry? Haha funny. My clothes are not usually neat. I don’t iron, I don’t fold them properly. I just pull them out and put them on. They are clean though! Mostly rinkled. I don’t know how to iron. And I do hang them in the closet… eventually.

2. How do you make your bed? Hospital corners? All over the floor? Or somewhere in between? Make the bed? I know how, Mom taught me… but what is the point? I am just going to mess up up again.. well, actually, Angel will make it up how she likes it, which is too cute anyway.

3. Do you leave dirty dishes in your dishwasher? In the sink? On the counters? In other rooms? Dirty dishes are sometimes in the sink, but I try to keep up on them. And hassle the husband to do it too.

4. Are your floors clean enough to eat off of or is there an old science experiment growing in the corner? Um… the floors usually have fur-bunnies rolling all over them. No, I would not eat off them. But the dogs do.

5. How clean is the outside of your car? How about the inside? Is there junk in your trunk? I have an outback, no trunk. The car has hair in it but no garbage. I have it cleaned every month or so.
