Tatum’s In A Trial

Yup Tatum is going to be in an AKC trial this weekend. Just for one day, on Friday. She gets so nervous at new places, I’ve been able to take her to this place we are trialing in 3 times now. They have had an open practice day and it’s been so nice! Each time I took her up, she got better and better. I am not taking her this week, but I hope that 3 times was good enough to increase her confidence at the place. She’s so very place specific. 🙂

She’s very ready to trial, she knows all the obstacles and she’s doing really well on 12 weave polls too. I had her in AKC FAST last fall, but it was just for fun and she was nervous there. Hopefully this place she will now be comfortable with. We’ll see. She’s such a good girl and she does really well. If she’s not comfortable she’ll go super slow and look around a lot, and I am not sure she’d make course time. If she’s comfortable she’ll go fast and have fun just doing the agility. She did great at practice yesterday, speedy fast and tail up and bouncing around like a goof. 🙂 Hopefully she’ll do well this Friday too!
