One Day of Silence

I haven’t written about the tragedy at Virginia Tech.. because there is enough written about it, and it breaks my heart anyway.

One Day of Silence…
Silence can say more than a thousand words.

This day shall unite us all about this unbelievable painful & shocking event and show some respect and love to those who lost their loved ones.

On April 30th 2007, the Blogosphere will hold a One-Day Blog Silence in honor of the victims at Virginia Tech. More then 30 died at the US college massacre.

But it´s not only about them. Many bloggers have responded and asked about all the other victims of our world. All the people who die every day. What about them?

This day can be a symbol of support to all the victims of our world!

All you have to do is spread the word about it and post the graphic on your blog on 30th April 2007. No words and no comments. Just respect, reflect and empathy.

Spread the word about this event:

Woo Hoo! We have a new domain name. πŸ™‚ I was tired of ‘hex’ witch, it was too negative, and I wanted something happy, cheery, and dog related.

So here we are. Much happier, don’t you think? The old page has a redirect on it… but I won’t renew the domain after July when it expires. I like this one much better.

So please change your bookmarks and links! Thanks!

YIKES of course I didn’t think about my PayPerPosts… or my Alexa Rankings, or my Technochrati, or any of that stuff, before I changed. OOPS.

Oh well, I sent in requests to change, hopefully they’ll catch up! πŸ˜€

I Love Seattle

I love Seattle, and I love the rain. Too often I have sat through weeks and weeks of clear blue skies here in Utah and wished for some rain.

However, if I lived up there, I might not like it so much.

I went up to Seattle October 15-19th for a CGI-AMS conference for work. The conference was okay, I wish there was a bit more technical things than there were. But just being up there was wonderful.

My Mom came with and we had a great time. I love to travel with my Mom and spend time with her. We get along great on our travels and have a good time. I hope she wasn’t too bored while I was in the conference! We stayed an extra day and played a lot in Pike Place Market. I love that Market!

I bought a salmon and checked it home as baggage. Oh man, that was yummy!

Running Again

I was sick around New Years. The entire holiday I didn’t even leave the house. Felt guilty about not taking the dogs to the park, but they survived. πŸ™‚

Yesterday I felt a lot better, finally. Went running again. I have skipped two weeks. Ugh. And I can feel it today. Was really hard for me to fall asleep last night. Usually is after I start or stop excersising. But, I know my body will adjust quickly and I’ll be back at it full again. I only went 2.93 miles, not the full 3.5. Hopefully I can do 3.5 again Thursday.

I only took Levi. Chase still needs LLW manners, and I think it might be a while for him. The world is so fascinating.

I also went to agility class. The old teacher isn’t teaching, so I have a new one. She is great, too, I really like her! She is more technically oriented and that is a good thing, because it’s always good to learn different perspectives! πŸ™‚

Magnetic Motor

You gotta love it when Blogger is down, eh? And I get a zillion multiple posts. Hopefully it’s fixed now.

Check out the link in the title (Magnetic Motor). Wow, Magnetic Motors. I sure hope this takes off. Perhaps it will, and not be supressed, as have been other alternate forms of power generation. Our world needs a new power source. One that is environmentally friendly. We are sucking this world dry with the current technology.
